D4 played in Chicago while I was there recently. However, I didn't find out about this until the following morning on the internet. I spent that day and much of the next moaning and shouting at anybody who said anything to me.

Dillinger Four were one of the first bands I got into after Green Day. Versus God is one of the best albums of all time, without doubt. But as Gary said, they haven't released one bad song. Their albums taught me alot about people.

all the things you've spoken
the conviction in your eyes
i believe that you believe them
but i can't empathize
you wanna live life your way
and not let others do the same
the world turns to a desert
while you pray for rain
i'm glad you found your answers
in your parents' fairy tales
still we'll give focus
with no wind to push the sails
mythology and magic
religion's all the same
the world turns to a desert
while you pray for rain
and i have faith, i have faith in me
faith in things that i can see
and i have learned some things about devotion
stop judging me and i won't judge you
we're all looking for our own truth
and we are only tiny droplets in the ocean
drops in the ocean

Mildly interesting fact - the black and white photo on the inside cover of civil war is by a guy from cork - original here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/readysteadyjedi/2351267946/in/set-72157604195678537/). It was due to be the back cover but was too grainy for vinyl. There's a load more D4 stuff on that link as well as strike anywhere, nofx, teenage bottle rocket, and a whole load more ye should be listening to.

seriously? Heathers fans? this demands further explanation
BDG
14th December 2009, 02:31 PM
I'd already left for the tube at that stage but apparently a bunch of rabid heathers fans questioned martin on his biological connection with the popular folk duo, either that or one lad was mad into heathers and asking about them
John
14th December 2009, 02:35 PM
Thats mad
I tend to harass heathers with questions about their biological connection to Martin
