Wikipedia says; The Redneck Manifesto formed in August 1998 as a four piece comprising of members of several prominant Dublin bands - Niall Byrne came from Jackbeast, Richie Egan from Black Belt Jones[1] and Matthew Bulger from The Waltons. Mervyn Craig came from the Dundalk band Hylton Weir. Neil O'Conner would join the band in 2003 coming from the Connect 4 Orchestra.

No mention of hardcore, and the only music I can find is from Connect 4 Orchestra who definitely arent hardcore.

That's because of the vocalist, probably. Dustin Hadlock was a far better vocalist than your man Mike. Mike was the original vocalist, but he blew his voice and had to quit, then Hadlock joined and recorded Juggernaut. When Mike recovered, they sacked Dustin and became a watered-down pissy version of The Black Dahlia Murder. I still like Juggernaut, but otherwise, fuck this band.
