Yep and they all use code so that they don't get caught.
nope.
also, that example's not necessarily true. i reckon, here anyway, it's more like it being rainy outside and to save your pants getting drenched you wear two pairs. it solves that problem but it feels shit.

Its all Bryan's fault anyway. He asked me for that and then said I should post it here. Blame all your abortions and extra mouse clicks on him.

I was on one forum and all the rapidshare and megaupload links were coded behind html buttons. It was just like the 'Insert Link' button in the reply section on this forum. What I thought was even better was that the thread could only be viewed if a user had a high enough rating much like a post count. For instance to go into this thread you may need 500 posts or more.

Set It Straight - Live Your Heart And Never Follow
Following their highly acclaimed "My Favorite Words", NorCal favorites Set it Straight continue to deliver positivly charged and sociopolitically aware straight edge hardcore with their sophmore full-length, "Live Your Heart and Never Follow". 13 Tracks of circle-pit and pileup friendly melodic hardcore featuring thunderous drums, creative guitar work, a healthy dose of stop/starts, tempo changes and well-placed breakdowns. Lyrics deal with everything from Straight Edge and self-betterment to political injustice and teaching yourself to read between the lines, though they manage to avoid coming off as preachy. With flawless production and a huge layout featuring art from some of today's top tattoo artists, "Live Your Heart and Never Follow" is an instant hardcore classic. Hailing from beautiful Iceland, these Nordic types bring you three furious songs on a 7" limited to 320 after their LP fell through. With their only previous American release being a split with Neon Hookers, this release is a introduction to I Adapt and their brand of politically-conscious hardcore, heavy on build-up parts and raging, melodic riffs that evoke thoughts of Hope Conspiracy, Modern Life Is War and Cursed, with a bit of Tragedy thrown in.

Move Ahead - Glory Days
Burgeoning from the fertile hardcore breeding grounds of Boston, Massachusetts comes a breath of fresh air in the form of Move Ahead. Forming in 2005, Move Ahead started the way any band starts; five friends bored deciding they want to pick up some instruments, write music that sounds like their favorite bands, and hit the road.
Their initial material, heavily influenced by the likes of Champion and Comeback Kid, was put on a well received five song demo. Growing up in a hotbed for hardcore like Boston, it becomes too easy to follow the trends set by local hardcore legends. As Move Ahead progressed as a band and as individual musicians, their influences broadened. Rather than following in the footsteps of legends, Move Ahead decided to take the road less traveled by incorporating elements of jazz, pop, and good ole' fashion rock and roll as they see fit.

Black Breath - Demo 06
Bellingham/ Seattle angry-spit-bloody-headstock-damage.
"Black Breath are dirtbags. They drink a lot—most of them at least—and they will break your lawn furniture if you give them the chance. The grime that covers their existence comes through strongly in their music; it's like the perfect soundtrack to a case of Natty Ice and/or kicking a hole through somebody's door at a party. There's a definite Gummo element to this band, which can be frightening when forced upon you but strangely comforting when embraced. Don't be overly surprised during their set at Atlas if, without warning, shirtless men holding beers start wrestling a chair." JEFF KIRBY - The Stranger

R'N'R - THE INFAMOUS AND NOTORIOUS
Historically speaking, early '80s style Boston hardcore (SS Decontrol, DYS, the FU's) and 1970's classic rock (AC/DC, Led Zepplin, Thin Lizzy) have gelled together with luke warm-to-embarrassingly awful results. With the benefit of hindsight Central Mass' RNR successfully mold together the realness, power, and aggression of early hardcore punk with the catchiness, swagger and big riffing of the very best rock n' roll. Nothing can be said about this band. They don't even have a band name. They simply say when asked, "we are los gatos negros" (the black cats) because they are black cats. PLEASE do not try to order any their records. Your money will be returned or eaten. The only way to buy their CD is in person from the band, or from a plan-it-x touring distro. Sorry. If you have any questions about this band, you should forget about them.

Well there was the first one which wrote the songs on that CD (which you could only get at shows by stuffing $2 into a little box.). They're anonymous like. The newer ones have been recruited by members of the first one. They're trying to figure out what to do about new songs though. I think they'll record it and send it to each other or something.

I got blacklisted "Heavier than Heaven Lonier Than God" but it's the unmastered one, and the guitars are low in it and sound keeps skipping from left to right, anyone got the full release version, much appreciated.

Meh, who decides exactly what a good record is? How do you go about putting a monetary value on it? I'd buy a bands release if I thought they might need the money to cover the costs of releasing it etc., like I wouldn't say one band deserves the money more just because I prefer it as a release or whatever, but that's just my opinion.
