for some reason i thought there was a thread about these lads already. but yeah, anyone into melodic loveliness should most definitely check them out. i've had "26 Is Dancier Than 4" on repeat for several months now. really hope they make their way over here someday.

This band is so delicious. I shamefully downloaded 'Animals' the other day. The whole album flows so well, and that bit in Gibbon where it slows down is so good. Zebra is class too.
EDIT:That was a terrible explanation of Gibbon, basically that bit that starts at 3.19.

Ha, it only took five months for somebody to reply, Naomi.
Like I said in that gig thread, whilst it is class in parts, I can't help but find the album a bit disappointing overall.

I really enjoy the music but I can't stand the singer's voice. It's too 'indie', for lack of less stupid description.

The singer's definitely the weakest part of this band, yeah.

Ah, another massive bump which promised so much and delivered so little.

There's nothing like reading an old post only to discover you'd left out a word and sounded thick.

Just before you'd said "less stupid" and all...

Saw these last night. Really good live show, the new songs sounded great. Singers dancing was amazing.

They played a new song which was fairly class.

I really like this band, something about them. Their drummer Jamie designed the artwork for the Anderson Mesa EP.
